Configuration & Account Settings

Last updated on: 2026-05-30  |  Updated by: MAGNI Docs Team

Welcome to the Configuration & Account Settings center. This section provides an overview of tools designed to help Magni platform users manage personal configurations, maintain corporate identity compliance, establish regional preferences, and customize daily workflow entry points.

Depending on your registration profile and assigned functional roles, your configuration environment is split into two primary operational panels:

Configuration Panels

1. Profile Management

The central core for maintaining identity credentials, authentication mapping, and structural organizational data.

  • Visible To: All platform users (with customized sub-views rendered for B2B Corporate Users vs. B2C Individual Customers).
  • Key Capabilities:
    • Update compliance identity details (First/Last Names) required for system-generated course certificates.
    • Establish Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials using the Link to Microsoft secure pipeline.
    • Maintain organizational structures such as custom Job Titles, assigned corporate Departments, and dynamic Locations (for B2B workflows), or Billing Information addresses and tax parameters (for B2C individual customers).

2. System Preferences & Settings

The personal environment controller used to map the Magni interface behavior to your local timezone, language settings, and preferred operational workflows.

  • Visible To: All platform users (with premium layout override widgets accessible exclusively to Administrators).
  • Key Capabilities:
    • Configure localization layers including searchable Default Timezones (with UTC offsets), specific Date Formatting metrics, and Default Language preferences featuring national flags.
    • Control global communication options via the Allow Notifications toggle.
    • Streamline daily authentication flows via the Default Dashboard Radio Group, allowing users with multi-tier responsibilities to land instantly on their preferred interface (Learner, Checklist Operator, or Issues Owner) upon login.

Operational Best Practices

  • Certificate Alignment: Ensure that your profile first and last names precisely match your legal identification, as the learning module utilizes these static parameters during automatic certificate rendering.
  • Workflow Acceleration: Users carrying overlapping security roles are highly encouraged to configure their Default Landing Dashboard to match their primary daily activity center, saving redundant operational navigation clicks after login.
  • Commit Changes: Remember that any structural modifications executed within either the Profile or Settings pages require clicking the blue Save button located in the top-right corner to take effect.
