Overview
The Activity - New page is where an administrator starts creating a new learning activity. It's a lightweight first step: name the activity, choose whether it requires a signature on completion, choose whether it should be created as a pre-assessment, then continue on to build out the activity's content.
👤 Visible to: Users with permission to review/manage all activities (the same permission required to access the [[Activities]] list).

Step-by-Step: Creating a New Activity
- Go to Learning → Activities.
- Click + NEW ACTIVITY.
- (Optional) Turn on Signature if learners must provide a signature to complete this activity.
- (Optional) Turn on Create as Pre-Assessment? if this activity should be created as a pre-assessment.
- Enter a title in the Name field.
- Click the blue arrow button next to the Name field to continue.

Tips
- Both toggles (Signature and Create as Pre-Assessment?) are off by default — turn them on before naming and continuing if either applies, since they set how the activity behaves once built.
- The Signature toggle is worth enabling for any activity where you need documented proof of completion (e.g., compliance training).
- Marking an activity Create as Pre-Assessment? is likely what determines the value shown in the Pre column on the [[Activities]] list — confirm this link in the live app and update that page's column description once verified.
- The Name field appears to be required — the arrow button likely won't proceed (or will show a validation error) until a name is entered.
- This page only covers the first step of activity creation; after clicking the arrow button, you're taken to the next stage where the activity's actual content is built — document that as a separate page once you have a screenshot of it.
